One of creators of C programming language passed away today
This is probably the most widely used language - working everywhere from controllers in keyboards to supercomputers running Linux. Being at the same time simple enough to work good on smallest devices and powerful enough not to be replaced by something more advanced.
Also Dennis Ritchie was one of creators of the UNIX operating system. His creations had a great influence on the whole technology world, and inspired a lot of great minds.
